I am a teacher of the Balance Yoga and Wellness School with a RYT 200 and currently in training for RYT 500. I have been a student of yoga for over 10 years and share my experience to help other students develop a consistent practice creating better habits, for better health.

My Inspiration:

My son and my role as his mother. Yoga inspires me to be a better person, to live life more authentically, enjoy what I do, and share that experience with other working moms.

Why I practice:

Yoga forced me to look at areas of my life where I was not super satisfied and allowed me to create something different instead. Every time I show up on my mat, I get to be my authentic self, no judgment, no predetermined outcomes. Yoga is my form of meditation and the way I express gratitude and appreciation. I am thankful for the focus it creates while alleviating anxiety and overwhelm.

Why I teach:

I teach yoga to bring the rewards of yoga to the community. So often people look at yoga as just the practice on the mat, but there’s so much more. Yoga can literally change people lives if they commit to the practice on and off the mat. I am committed to sharing that message with working moms and creating an environment for women to feel empowered in their health.

I love to teach intermediate to advanced asana, meditation, and workshops focused on both physical and mental health. I currently teach at Balance Yoga and Wellness in New Orleans, LA.
